Peanut Butter and Oat Power Bars Vegan
Preparation: 45 minutes (including baking)
Makes 16 squares
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 3/4 c peanut butter
- 1/4 c. maple syrup (or rice syrup)
- 3 c. rolled oats
- Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9 x 9 square pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the banans, peanut butter and maple syrup.
- Add the oats and mix well.
- Pour into the baking pan and press down with a spoon.
- Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, cool, and cut into 16 squares.
An excellent post work-out snack, after-noon pick-me-up
or part of a breakfast on the go.Per square: 158 cal, 20g carb, 5.6 g protein, 7.1 g fat.
